prayer

milford coastal walk. auckland, new zealand

i am standing still.
gathering summer
into my open arms.

breakfast becomes a prayer, said
with closed eyes;
face towards the sun.

    Your poetry is amazing. This is so simple, but absolutely perfect.
    Sorry it took me so long to get back to your blog–things have been super crazy for the past few months, but I’m hoping to be able to drop by regularly again. Thank you so much for stopping by a couple of months ago to see how I am. I appreciate it. =)
