split apple rock, abel tasman national park

+++

awaroa lodge – no cellphone service, no internet, no worries…

a place where the tide breathes slow breaths in and out, the sea has many moods and the sky is so perfectly blue that i need to remember to look at the ground every so often so i do not trip over.

we had four days of swimming, walking, reading, sleeping, sun burn, food, wine and blissful relaxation in one of my favourite parts of new zealand – awaroa bay in the abel tasman national park.

a few years ago we kayaked this park with friends. returning to this place, i am already planning ways that we can do it again…
