DAY ONE – LUNCH
Today’s prompt was lunch but mine wasn’t anything fancy so I’ll tell you about our lovely dinner at Te Whau Vineyard Restaurant.
Gorgeously light but creamy chowder with generous chunks of fish + line-caught snapper for me; leek tart with perfectly light & crisp pastry + beef bourgegnon for Nic. Top notch Te Whau & other NZ wines to match.
Sadly both too full for pudding so we will have to go back some other time!
