Arches, 2005
Pink Leadhill sandstone blocks stacked into 11 freestanding arches. Each arch is 7m long with each block 1.4m²

For a few days of the year, alan gibbs opens his farm to artists, educational institutions, charities and the public, by prior appointment. There's some seriously impressive large-scale sculpture on the property and it was amazing to spend a few hours there. Obviously there’s a lot more artworks there than what i’ve shown above, those were my just favourites. You can see more here.
