my days are filled with audio books & jazz – deepak chopra’s ‘magical mind, magical body – ‘widening circles‘ by spike mason. “The words, sung by the 2012 National Jazz Award winner Kristin Berardi, are an English translation of poems penned over a hundred years ago by the German poet Rainer Maria Rilke.     “widening circles”? i’d recognize that phrase in a heartbeat. the collection of poems it’s based on is the very one i have returned to this month.
