scenes from the weekend

+ slow cooked chipotle brisket is shredded and stuffed into tacos with grated apple

+ wine is opened, purchased at a wine tasting evening earlier in the week

+ game of thrones, firelight, two humans and a cat in various configurations on the sofa/ottoman

+ thunder & lightning. rejoicing over the water tanks filling up and the roof not leaking anymore

+ i spend most of the daylight hours on Saturday travelling to, attending, travelling back from, a baby shower for a friend

+ Nic sends photo updates of the little things he gets up to around the house

+ takeaways & orphan black

+ Sunday morning lie in

+ then two humans board the ferry, me for the second day in a row of leaving the island (I know!)

+ lunch with friends at the blue breeze inn

+ before returning the island

+ and a sunset beach walk
