the roof of the sky city convention centre caught fire yesterday afternoon and was still ablaze when we got to

today i’m re-imagining what my weekdays would look like without a commute. wondering when this current season will end

the past week in books started //  a manual for cleaning women. recommended by nic’s mum and a distant cousin

a word i’ve had to look up in the dictionary today: magniloquent [ mag-nil–uh-kwuh nt ] adjective speaking or expressed

words that have caught my fancy today: her body seems to know what her mind doesn’t. she’s one

I suspect that the mind, like the feet, works at about three miles an hour. If this is so, then

i imagine my hands, set like clay captured in a prayer pose feet with legs sticking out of the ground
