the old pilchard press
there are places on this planet – too many to mention – that i’ve not yet seen.
there are buses i have not boarded, planes that take off and land that i will never sit in.
there are roads i will never cross, people whose eyes will never meet my own.
visually, there is so much to take in. even should i be able to see everything – even with only a fleeting glimpse, it’s not possible for me to truly see the whole world.
and i don’t want to.
i want to notice everything that i pass by.
like this sign; probably not often photographed…
it hangs in a carpark in a tiny village called mousehole in cornwall in the south of england.
weathered and cracked – i wonder how often it needs to be replaced.
