the weekend that was
Do not hold anything back. Give it your all and everything. Then some more. Take five deep breaths and return to a place where busy is meaningless. Reluctant rising from warm bed into the cold breath of a winter morning for bootcamp. Do the dishes. And the laundry. Make beds and light the fire. Have lunch under the golden glow of a winter sun, then spend an evening indoors around the fire with friends. Wake early, stoke the fire, make coffee, then get back into bed. White plates, breadcrumbs, more coffee, stack the dishes. One ferry to say goodbyes, then another to the city. Go there and back again, crossing things off your list inbetween. Work. Rest. Eat your greens.
