three things {grow your own}
grow your own
- i love reading DO grow by alice holden – easy to read, with great suggestions for every aspiring vege gardener. there’s something very satisfying about eating food we have freshly picked from our own back yard
- i also love reading whole larder love by rohan anderson – great to pick up and browse through for inspiration, with sections about growing, foraging, pickling, hunting and the gear that he uses for each task
- through a friend, i recently discovered these great garden crates from my veggie patch and i found these raised garden planters at our local saturday market – i can see this as a great way to upgrade from plastic pots to a proper looking garden plot whilst renting. and when we move we can take them with us!
