exploring london yesterday, he and i took in the city from the river by riding the thames clipper, saw the ansel adams exhibition, had lunch by the thames and rode the gondola just as the sun was going down. we browsed our local bookstore, i bought ANOTHER cookery book, and we ended the day with mulled wine & bar snacks.

this is the kind of day i want to always remember.
