1 // Sand between my toes
We went for a walk on the beach after work today instead of coming straight home. It seems a little ridiculous that we don’t do this every day! We often scurry home after our work days without taking advantage of this beautiful place we call home.
2 // A newly borrowed library book
A Doubter’s Almanac by Ethan Canin.
3 // Warm nights
So warm we are sleeping with the bedroom doors wide open and our limbs flung out of the sides of the bed seeking cool air.
4 //Shooting film
I loaded the Holga 120n up with film (I have a crazy amount of it hoarded up) and started using it again today. Some of my favourite photos have been made with that little plastic camera. I’m looking forward to making some more.
5 // An owl in our garden
New Zealand has only one native owl and we have a couple that live nearby. Hearing their calls in the evenings and mornings makes me all kinds of happy.

Isn’t that true all too often?
It is for us! So we are changing that this week – choosing beach walks and swims on the way home. Its not like we have to go far out of our way for them either! :)
