1 // waiheke island weather report: wake early to the sound of rain and the stirring of the dawn chorus. alongside more sensible things, like your umbrella and wallet, carry relief & gratitude with you as you go about your day
2 // we woke this morning to find a message on nic’s phone. milo turned up late last night at his previous home. today i am grateful for the small community where we live that has an active (and supportive) community group on facebook. he’s back with us now, and appears to be happy to stay put; we know where to look if he wanders again. truly grateful to everyone who messaged, commented, emailed etc. thank-you, a thousand times, thank-you

Oh, I’m so glad … it made me feel teary reading he was home again :-)
I bet he got lost and followed old pathways ‘home’ by mistake. Don’t we all do that sometimes? So happy to see him properly home. xx
Yay Milo! What on earth possessed him to go wandering back to his old home? Perhaps he wanted a long weekend holiday? Anyway – so glad he’s back with you.
